"Fast" Food Drive 2024
Hello friends! Our 9th Annual 21-day “Fast” Food Drive kicks off on November 1st!
From Nov. 1-21, we invite you to join us to “fast” a meal, daily coffee fix, or whatever else God places on your heart. You will receive daily prayer points on the topics below. Your donated funds support programs that empower the Body of Christ to engage with the people of NK.
This year we are seeking to:
Raise funds for three projects as follows:
1. Empower 2025. Through Empower, we hope to mobilize three groups of people: leaders, consultants, and young people from all over the world. While North Korea can only be accessed by a very small group of people, this is the time to mobilize and equip these three groups of people to better prepare for the great harvest which will surely come. At this Empower, we are expecting many Christians from the Global South to attend and they will need financial support to attend.
2. Forming a Christian association for NK engagement work. We hope to bring together church, agency, school, and denominational leaders from around the world to officially launch an association to represent Christian interests in North Korea. The vision is to engage North Korea as an official Christian association focused on peace and reconciliation.
3. Capacity building initiative. As part of Reah's preparation for the global opportunities that lay ahead, we will increase Reah's technical capacity such as the website and the CRM. Through the website, we wish to provide more resources and communicate information to the global church. The CRM will enable us to create profiles of consultants who desire to use their vocational experience, network, and skills to benefit organizations and projects that would improve the lives of the North Koreans, especially those in the margins of the society.
Your donations will fund:
- Empower delegates who need financial support, meetings to prepare for the NK association, and Reah's website and CRM.
To receive our devotionals and prayer topics during the drive, please email prayer@reah.org. Thank you for your prayers and support!
You may also choose to give regularly toward the Reah general fund. The fundraising drive will continue through Giving Tuesday (Dec. 3rd), but donations will be accepted on an on-going basis until the end of the year.
Jamie Kim and Family
Hello friends,
My name is Jamie Kim and I am the director of Reah International.
The word for me in 2022 is from Isaiah 52:2 Enlarge the
place of your tent,
stretch your tent curtains wide, do
not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.
For me and Reah, I believe that we are to enlarge our ministry from mainly serving the field to serving the church, the body of Christ. Reah's role is to equip and empower the church to train and disciple their members for ministry, local and global.
There is a role for the whole body of Christ in global engagement. As the pandemic has shown, we can work remotely and be just as effective if we are creative and diligent. There is a place and a role for you whether you are on the field, preparing to go, or in your home country. This can happen as the body of Christ works together to support a flourishing quality of life in North Korea. Let's pray and work together to support a flourishing quality of life in North Korea and beyond!

On #GivingTuesday 2020, we are looking for the first 50 "Founding Members" of Reah International. Becoming a Founding Member would mean that you would commit to pray with and for us and give a monthly pledge of $50 or more in support of what Reah stands for and what we desire to do. More specifically, over the next seven years, Reah's goals are:
1. To gather and unite all Western Christian organizations and churches engaged in North Korea work; 2. To gather and unite South Korean churches and organizations which desire to collaborate with Western organizations and churches for North Korea work.
One way we will do this is through the Great Harvest 2027 - a call to the global Church to collaboratively train the next generation to be communities of healing and reconciliation in the 27 major cities of North Korea by 2027; please go to www.greatharvest2027.com for more information!
